Outstanding work in exhibiting a good attitude!

I busted out the baby book this weekend so that I could scan it all in for posterity and I found some interesting stuff.

Apparently I was a freaking math genius in my elementary school days! (I wonder why I failed Trig so badly in high school…)

In the 80’s, one would often be rewarded for the ideals that make us good people as you can see in the below example.

So I guess I was a Math Superstar with a “Good Attitude?, good enough to be rewarded and showered with certificates of achievement! I should staple these to my resume…

The stuff that really killed me was the ribbons I’d get while participating in Indian Guides (sort of like the boy scouts, only much lamer and with much more fake bear fur.) When ever we went camping we get ribbons for participating in the lamest games imaginable like rope the little wodden calf or run forty feet and grab a feather. We’d leave with our pockets stuffed with these things, and yes they all ended up in a place of honor in my baby book. Maybe my mom thought I’d graduate to large wooden steer wrangling one day…
