Finally found some time to start working on season 2 of the All New Branded in the 80s Podcast.  In this new episode I take a few minutes to talk about some of the behind the scenes talent in our favorite 80s cartoons, or more precisely, just how hard it can be to nail down just who is responsible for creating the animation and cartoon theme songs we all love.

For this episode’s shout out I want to point to Michael at Culturally Significant.  Great website, and even better pin maker!

If you haven’t already, I’d be honored if you took a second to rate or write a review of the show in iTunes (good, bad, indifferent.)

Very cool. Great work on talking about some of the cartoons I loved as a kid and never thought anyone else even heard of.

    • Thank you for listening. Yeah, there are definitely some obscure cartoons out there. Have any favorites?

I was always a big fan of Thundercats/Silverhawks. And then Thundarr the Barbarian was good fun as was Dungeons and Dragons. There were so many great ones… and yet Saturday morning was always spent watching Bugs Bunny for a couple of hours.

        • Sweet, yeah, those Rankin/Bass 80s cartoons were so much fun. The best villains in 80s animation, hands down. My Saturday morning always started with a bunch of Looney Tunes and then it was bebopping back and forth between shows on all three channels.
